Ali Çınar Aslan | Automotive Technical Portfolio
A personal portfolio built around automotive technology, vehicle restoration, and hands-on technical work. Here I document fault diagnosis, maintenance work, detailing, parts research, and my practical automotive projects. My main focus is the OEM+ restoration and technical renewal of a 2004 Volkswagen Golf IV 1.6 8V BFQ.
My Technical Journey
I was born in Manisa on 23 August 2005, and completed my primary and secondary education in Balıkesir and Antalya.
In 2019, I started at Abidin Pak-Pakmaya Anatolian High School. Following my interest in the social sciences, I began the International Relations program at Ege University in 2023. Over time, however, I realized that my career goals were centered on technical applications and mechanical systems rather than theoretical disciplines, so I changed direction.
In 2025, I enrolled in the Sports Management program at Balıkesir University to build on my interest in motorsport and automotive topics. During that time, I came to see that motorsport is built not only on athletic performance but also on engineering, mechanics, and technical practice, which shifted my career focus toward automotive technology.
Today, I am developing my skills in automotive mechanics, vehicle restoration, maintenance, and technical systems. Through my own vehicle projects, I gain hands-on experience and learn mechanical systems, electrical infrastructure, and the OEM restoration approach.
My long-term goal is to gain professional technical expertise in the automotive industry and become an automotive technician and specialist working to international standards.
